As a military wife there is probably nothing more dreaded than another PCS move. Mainly the work that is involved in sorting through all your worldly processions so some stranger can throw them in a box. Its also a fun and exciting time, you get to move to a new place and try new things and maybe even redecorate.
My husband and I have been married for almost 7 years. In that time we have moved three times. The biggest of which was 3.5 years ago when we moved to Italy. Three long months of being displaced was enough for me to never want to move again, but we have to of course move back to the states sometime. Fortunatly for us that time is upon us. Now for the first time in our lives we are going to purchase a house. This purchase isn't just a house to us we feel like we will be finally making our first home together. One where we can paint the walls and not have to go back and paint them builder white in 3 years. One were we can plant a tree and not worry if it follows the property managers standards just to have to rip it out.
We are so excited to be able to start making roots and have a place our children can call home!
